Vent-Axia has launched a heat-pump division to complement its comprehensive Lo-Carbon ventilation range. The division will offer ground-source and air-source heat pumps for the light-commercial and domestic markets.

Cliff Arnold (pictured) has been appointed sales manager of the new division. He explains, ‘With the launch of the Renewable Heat Incentive in April 2011, renewables will become an increasingly attractive options for homeowner, specifiers and landlords. Heat pumps in combination with low-carbon ventilation will make a valuable contribution to reducing the carbon produced by UK homes.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
