Modular frequency inverters are designed for pumps, fans and compressors

The Sinamics G120P range of modular frequency inverters from Siemens Industry Automation & Drive Technologies is specifically designed for pumps, fans and compressors. They can also be used for closed-loop speed control of fans and circulating pumps for heating and cooling systems, for booster pumps and pumps for level control.

Ratings from 360 W to 90 kW are covered in only six frame sizes.

These inverters comprise a control unit, power module and an optional intelligent operator panel.

Automatic switching to line-fed operation at rated speed enables an energy saving of up to 3% to be achieved.

I/O and fieldbus interfaces such as Modbus and Profibus have been adapted to its requirements. There is a USB interface for commissioning and diagnostic purposes.
