Pegler Yorkshire secures major housing contract

Pegler Yorkshire has won a contract to supply taps and mixers for Nottingham City Homes’ Secure Warm Modern programme to improve thousands of council homes by 2013. The contract covers fitting around 17 000 new kitchens and 12 700 new bathrooms.

The projects will be supplied from the Haze range, which includes basin, bath and kitchen pillar taps and a kitchen deck sink mixer with tubular swivel spout.

Pete Smith, procurement manager at Nottingham City Homes, said, ‘Our residents deserve good quality products that will stand the test of time, not only from a specification point of view but also from a cosmetic one. Value for money is key, and every product that NCH procures includes a high-quality evaluation element. We have worked with Pegler Yorkshire before and have confidence in their ability to deliver quality products at the right price.’
