Boiler MD cycles to raise £4000 for charity

ATAG

ATAG Heating managing director Phil Bell has raised over £4000 for the British Heart Foundation by completing an unsupported 720 mile bicycle ride through France. He took 10 days to complete the solo ride from the Channel port of Caen to the Mediterranean town of Narbonne La Plage.

He tells us that several days of strong head winds and torrential rain made some of the stages quite tough. ‘I now realise that I was on the tail end of a major weather depression sitting over France and which flooded parts of south-east France and, sadly, claimed the lives of several people.’
