Fujitsu VRF system is for large buildings

Fujitsu, VRF, air conditioning

Fujitsu’s Airstage V-II VRF system for large buildings comprises outdoor units from 8 to 48 hp and 11 types of indoor unit as 49 models with cooling capacities from 2.2 to 25 kW. The outdoor units are 20% lighter than the previous equivalent model, and total pipe length can be up to 1000 m.

A removable L-shaped front panel on the outdoor units reduces installation time. Compressor noise is significantly reduced by shielding the compartment housing the compressor.

Temperature control of ±0.5 K is achieve by DC inverter control and individual electronic expansion valves on each indoor unit. The address of each indoor unit can be set automatically by pressing a button on the outdoor unit. Outdoor units can have a condenser hood with a static pressure of 80 Pa as standard, about 2.6 times greater than the previous model and enabling them to be installed in plant rooms in high-rise buildings. There is now also no need for an oil equalisation pipe.
