SAV adds bypass to commissioning modules to protect pumps

SAV Module, commissioning modules

SAV Modules’ FloCon commissioning modules are now supplied with a bypass to ensure that system flow never falls below 10%. This provides a simple, but effective, way of providing automatic protection for variable-speed pumping systems that cannot be allowed to run dry.

The bypass also addresses another frequent concern of consultants by ensuring good local circulation of chemicals added to the system to combat slime-forming pseudomonads. Space is also provided in these enhanced commissioning modules for an energy meter, should one ever be required.
