MHS Boilers becomes part of Elco Heating Solutions

MHS Boilers has been acquired by Elco Heating Solutions, part of the Ariston Thermo Group. The acquisition comes after 30 years of independence for MHS. Elco is a long-established brand across Europe and makes boilers and renewable-energy systems, including heat pumps and solar hot water. Its products have been available in the UK exclusively from MHS for the last five years.

MHS boilers will retain its brand in the UK and continue to source products for the UK’s light commercial and industrial market. The company will remain in its current building in Basildon. MHS Radiators is not affected and trades independently.

The acquisition will enable MHS Boilers to further develop its business in renewable energy and condensing boilers, giving it access to product development at its early stages and Elco’s own sales and service organisation.
