Dimplex enlarges its range of solar-thermal products

Dimplex, renewable energy, solar thermal, DHW

Dimplex has added three new products to its solar-thermal water-heating range. They are a cost-effective plate collector, a high-performance evacuated-tube option and a single-branch pump station.

The evacuated-tube collectors have a 10-year guarantee and are designed to achieve excellent performance in northern-European climates. The vacuum inside the tubes insulates against heat loss caused by cold, wet and windy weather. These collectors are available with 20 or 30 tubes. They can be mounted horizontal, vertically or on flat roofs. The tubes can be rotated to give optimal alignment.

The SOL201 flat-plate collector can be mounted vertically or horizontally, with up to three panels in series. Their construction gives 85% transmission.

The single-branch, flow-only pump station is offered as a cost-effective alternative to the existing pump station. It is combined with a controller in a new hydraulic pack and can be used with any Dimplex solar collector.
