Designer air curtains at Canary Wharf

JS Air Curtains
Vertically mounted air curtains from JS Air Curtains help maintain the interior environment for The Park Pavilion complex at Canary Wharf.

JS Air Curtains has designed and supplied eight vertical air-curtain systems for The Park Pavilion complex in London’s Canary Wharf. Six of these air curtains are 3 m high, and two are 2.5 m high. The finish is brushed stainless steel, and they are positioned vertically at the sides of the entrance and three interior doorways to retain warm air in the Winter and cool air in Summer. They were installed by electrical contractor Ashridge EC.

Each 3 m air curtain can deliver of to 7400 m3/h of air and has a 32 kW electric heater.

These Rund air curtains can house other services such as smoke or motion detectors, emergency lighting, CCTV or signs. They can be mounted horizontally on brackets, suspended on rods, mounted on post-type arms from the floor, ceiling or walls, or stand vertically on the floor — as for this project.
