Heat pumps for commercial heating

Mitsubishi Electric, heat pumps, space heating

The ease with which commercial buildings can achieve renewable-energy targets is explained in a brochure from Mitsubishi Electric about its range of Ecodan heat-pump boilers. There are ground- and air-source systems that can be applied to existing and new commercial properties.

Graham Temple, marketing manager for the company’s commercial heating systems division, says, ‘We have taken advanced Mitsubishi Electric heat-pump technology and developed our heating-only systems to provide all the heating and hot water a building needs.’

The brochure provides full technical information on the range, including the Ecodan monobloc air-source heat-pump boiler with an output of 43 kW and which can be linked with 15 other units to deliver 688 kW.
