eSight sets standard for mass data collection

A method for the mass collection of oBIX data feeds at high speed has been developed by eSight Energy. Company president Janie Jefferies-Freer, explains, ‘We now have current eSight customers processing over 20 000 individual oBIX data feeds from multiple locations every five minutes.’

This feat is achieved using eSight’s web-based energy-management platform to import data about energy usage from Tridium’s Niagara Framework as a site using the oBIX protocol.
