Tridium updates its NiagaraAX software

BMS, controls, gateway, Tridium

Tridium’s latest version of its NiagaraAX software (V3.6) offers improved security features and enhancements to usability, as well as support for a new static RAM option card (JOCSRM) to protect against data loss in the event of a power failure. This feature eliminates the need for rechargeable backup batteries and the labour cost for with their periodic replacement.

Tridium has also announced three new drivers — a Milestone driver to provide support for network video recording plus system drivers that enable connection to the McQuay and Carrier CCN protocols.

The new version enhances security by providing the option to authenticate to NiagaraAX using an RSA SecurID server to manage the credentials of each user. There are also expanded functions for the program’s wire sheet and weather module — as well as additional support for server drivers, including BACnet, OPC, Modbus, TCP, iLon, SNMP and relational drivers such as SQL, DB2, Oracle and MtSQL. V3.6 also offers full validation for Windows 7 and support for Windows 2008 Server.
