Cistermiser introduces new design for infra-red tap
Cistermiser’s range of infra-red taps now include an elegant panel-mounted basin spout. Vectaspout has a polished stainless-steel finish and helps reduce water consumption considerably. The flow of water is activated by the user putting their hands near the infra-red sensor, and the water is shut off 2 s after they are removed.
Vectaspout is available with flows of 3.5 and 5 l/min, compared with the average for a basin spout of 8 l/min (BAM). Water Regulations require that the flow should not exceed 3.6 l/min where basins do not have a plug. In addition, Vectaspout shuts off after 60 s of continuous flow.
Another feature is a hygiene rinse that operates 12 h after the spout’s last use.
Vectaspout can be mains or battery powered. The water flow run-on time and sensor range are fully adjustable.
