Norland continues to perform at Birmingham Town Hall

Norland

Norland Managed Services is to provide facilities-management services for Birmingham Town Hall for a further two years. The contract was extended by Performances Birmingham Ltd following Norland’s original appointment in 2009 when the Town Hall was re-opened after a £35 million renovation of this Grade 1 listed landmark.

The contract covers comprehensive M&E services, planned preventive maintenance to the building and fabric maintenance. The building is used for a large number of events throughout the year including concerts (from classical to rock), corporate events, graduation ceremonies and weddings.

Nick Loveland, director of finance and operations for the Town Hall and Symphony Hall, said, ‘Over the past three years we have forged a productive and successful relationship with Norland. As a result, we had no hesitation in opting to extend this contract, and we look forward to two more successful years of the partnership.’
