Shorts can dispose of old Robur gas-fired chillers

Shorts Environmental, which specialises in supplying gas-fired absorption heating and chiller systems, offers a service to remove and dispose of old gas-fired Robur plant. Shorts works with Robur to ensure correct and safe decommissioning. Shorts can also offer expert advice and assistance in the upgrading of existing plant and offer new and reliable Robur products with a warranty that can be extended to the life of the building.

Gareth Chappells, customer support manager with Shorts, explains, ‘We believe British Gas was involved in bulk sales of these older units. Such units are often found at sites with limited electrical supply or where there is a keen focus on energy conservation.’

Such units have the Robur brand, and were also supplied as Servel and GasCool brands.

Shorts can also identify and provide spares for older units if they are in an operational condition, which could extend their life.
