Sontay, sensors
Sontay, sensorsSontay sensors play a key role in monitoring HVAC services in the Slask Wroclaw Stadium in Poland.

The sophisticated building-management system in the new Slask Wroclaw Stadium for the UEFA EURO 2012 football tournament in Poland has around 28 000 control points and some 500 Sontay sensors for air temperature and water temperature in the various piped services etc. Delta Controls installed its enteliSYSTEM in the 42 771-seat stadium.

Other parameters measured by the Sontay sensors include liquid pressure, air differential pressure and relative humidity.

Delta Controls selected TT sensors for measuring air temperature and water temperature in piped services. In addition ST-TY wall-mounted space thermostats are used to control and adjust temperature locally throughput the stadium.

Andrzej Kolodynski, managing director of Delta Controls, says, ‘Sontay’s comprehensive product range makes our lives so much easier. We know we can go to Sontay and they have everything we need at a competitive price. We have used a wide range of sensors from Sontay for this stadium, and, as usual, I am really impressed with the quality of the products and the customer service we receive.’
