Data-centres

CIBSE has added a new document to its Knowledge Series — ‘Data centres: an introduction to concepts and design’ (KS18). It provides guidance on some of the core considerations that need to be made in data centres from the building-services viewpoint.

The document is aimed at owners, co-location developers, designers, contractors, operators and everyone interested in data-centre design, operation and space planning. It examines how to minimise energy use and operating costs through expert engineering solutions.
