NAPIT backs cashback scheme for Green Deal

NAPIT (National Association of Professional Inspectors & Testers) has welcomed the Government’s cashback scheme to stimulate the early uptake of the Green Deal. The £125 million scheme will provide funding packages of up to £1000 per household and becomes available on 28 January 2013.

Andy Sharp, sales and marketing director, says, ‘This announcement from the DECC can only galvanise confidence and enhance the opportunities presented by the Green Deal.

‘This latest cashback incentive is expected to increase early uptake and encourage more SMEs to invest in the ever-growing energy-efficiency sector.

‘ We encourage all our registered installers to take note of initiatives like this and seize opportunity to make the most of the early rush they could create when the Green Deal kicks off in January.’
