Shock-absorbing roof tile for solarPV jobs

HookStop, STF. solar PV, photo-voltaic, renewable energy

HookStop is a shock-absorbing roof tile designed to replace fragile plain or rosemary tiles that sit directly under the roof hooks used to support the mounting rails of a roof-mounted solarPV installation. These tiles are easy to fit and are made from UV-stable recycled rubber. They are designed to fit all plain and rosemary tiles. David Jackson of STF, a stockist of the product, says, ‘Even when great care is taken, every PV installer knows how easy it is to break fragile plain tiles during, and even after, installation.’

HookStop is available on next-day delivery from PV trade specialist Hextone’s Stainless Threaded Fasteners (STF) and JCP Owlett approved stockists.
