Heating for this church in Bridgnorth is now provided by MHS Thision L boilers on a free-standing cascade frame.

Renovation work of St Leonard’s Church in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, included the replacement of a 60-year-old oil-fire unit with three 65 kW gas-fired Thision L boilers and a Pisces pressurisation manager from MHS Boilers. They are mounted on a free-standing cascade frame as part of the complete refurbishment of the heating system.

M&E consultant and contractor for the project was Hydro Mechanical Services of Sutton Coldfield. Managing director Chris Jennings said, ‘With design-and-build projects such as this one, we always try to specify tried-and-tested products that we know will deliver for our clients. Having installed quite a few Thision L boilers in the last couple of years, we knew they were highly reliable and ideal for this property’s refurbishment.

‘And, as always, the installation and commissioning of the units went without a hitch, with the free-standing units proving easy to fit on site.’
