Air-cooled chillers from Flakt Woods

Flakt Woods, air cooled chiller, air conditioning

Flakt Woods’ Climaflakt KCCJ range of air-cooled chillers comprises 10 models with cooling capacities from 200 to 650 kW. Features include a multi-scroll compressor for enhanced part-load efficiency and increased heat-exchanger surface to reduced compressor consumption.

Other features include winglet aerofoil fans to reduce energy consumption by up to 10% and noise levels by 6 dB(A). Electronic condensation control is standard, a feature that reduces the unit’s fan speed to minimise noise levels.

These chillers can be cascaded in systems of up to seven units.

The control system minimises the number of compressor start-ups to prolong service life. Electronic expansion valves encourage low discharge temperatures and prevent liquid returning to the compressors.
