Toshiba Air Conditioning develops business tools

Toshiba air conditioning

Toshiba Air Conditioning has introduced a suite of business tools to help contractors design and quote for projects. The tools enable installers to provide fast and accurate technical, design and cost information to clients for small and large air-conditioning projects.

They are the centrepiece of Toshiba’s online business lounge that gives installers and customers access to technical and design information. The business lounge is part of Toshiba’ web site (link below).

There is an online AutoCAD section with a full range of standard icons and the new 3D format, plus design and engineering support that can be rapidly searched.

There are also a calculator for SEER (seasonal energy efficiency ratio), refrigerant-charge calculator and technical support for the requirements of leak detection under EN 378.

The suite also has a calculator for the potential savings of replacing old R22-based plant R410A equipment.

Completing the suite is an AHU interface calculator, a VRF quick-calc and fault-code identification. There is a DN Code setting function, valuable for engineers on site.

A spare-parts facility enables replacement components to be identified and ordered.
