Eurovent certification for York chillers

York chillers made in the UK at Basildon have gained Eurovent certification. Eurovent is a third-party organisation that independently tests and verifies product ranges against published literature and data supplied to customers. Ian Butler, York’s representative in the Eurovent certification programme for liquid chiller packages, says, ‘One of the greatest assets for York in helping us obtain certification was our environmental test laboratory in Basildon. We commissioned this facility to Eurovent standards, which means we are able to develop and test all our products to ensure they meet the certification requirements. ‘Now that York is Eurovent certified, all new liquid-chiller products from Basildon will automatically be added to the Eurovent certification programme.’
