Hilson Moran appointed to Royal Albert Docks

Hilson Moran has been appointed MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) and energy consultant on the master plan for the Royal Albert Docks, situated in the heart of the Royal Docks enterprise zone, east of the City of London. The 14 ha site is set to be transformed into a mixed-use scheme comprising office, leisure, retail and ancillary residential buildings with a gross external area of 280 000 m2.

The development will have some of the best transport links in London, with direct access to central and western London via the Crossrail station coming in 2018. It is also close to the University of East London and City Airport.

The developer is Advanced Business Parks, and development manager is Stanhope.
