Hoval engineer features in report on women in engineering
Hoval’s Rebecca Chapman, a sales and marketing engineer, is one of 12 women features in a report ‘Britain’s got talented female engineers’, which aims to inspire more women to choose an engineering career. Led by Atkins in association with the Royal Academy of Engineering, the report presents the findings of a survey of 300 female engineers from all over the UK.
Male engineering students at university outnumber women by seven to one. The survey set out to find what women in industry feel about their own career paths and how they think industry can encourage more young women to follow in their footsteps.
