Merlin shows it has a big heart

To provide power for a mobile cardiac catheter laboratory at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, power support company Merlin Power Management delivered a 200 kVA standby generator overnight. The company’s engineers travelled overnight from Andover with the generator and connected and commissioned it in record time to meet the requirements of Cardinal In Health. This generator has an automatic mains failure panel and was initially used for prime power. Now that the laboratory has a mains supply, the generator provides standby capacity. This mobile laboratory has drastically cut waiting times and ensured the hospital meets its 8-week maximum waiting-time target.
