A host of features offering safety and installation benefits are incorporated in Schneider Electric’s LoadCentre KQII range of distribution boards.
A new range of electrical distribution boards from Schneider Electric incorporates features to avoid installation errors. LoadCentre KQII boards have plug-on connectors, which is said to make them the safest boards available — both during installation and once in use. The IP2X busbar is fitted in the factory and has permanent insulating barriers to protect against accidental direct contact. — an important safety feature where testing and commissioning must be carried out on an energised board. Hundreds of 3-phase boards can be can be built up from a selection of standard units. A fast plug-on system for MCBs and RCBOs simplifies installation. Devices are simply slipped onto the rail and snapped into place. An integrated cable way allows cables to be organised easily, and a split earth and neutral bar design means all terminals are easily accessible from either side of the board. The incomer design means the time taken to fit incoming devices has been cut by up to 70%. The broad range of accessories includes a new metering kit.
