BSRIA awards Chris Monson honorary membership

Chris Monson, marketing manager with Trend Control System, has been awarded honorary membership of BSRIA, only the eighth such award in the association’s 58-year history. His relationship with BSRIA goes back over 25 years.

After being instrumental in the development of the BEMS centre, he joined the association’s council in 1989 and went on to sit on the research panel.

He was soon invited onto the board, where he served uninterrupted from 1994 to 2010. In 1999, he took on the role of chairman.

Ann King, marketing director with BSRIA, ‘I have had the great pleasure of knowing Chris for many years. Not only has he always been a great contributor and supporter of BSRIA’s activities, he is also a fantastic person to work with. It’s a view shared by all his colleagues here, and the fact that he is only the eighth person to have been awarded an honorary membership by the BSRIA council is testament to the high regard in which he is held.’
