DALI controller does not need device addressing

BMS, BEMS, Controls, DALI, Helvar

Helvar’s DALI 478 controller has an integral power supply and can support up to 512 DALI devices over eight subnets. The controller is suited for applications where device addressing is not required — such as supermarkets, warehouses and other open-plan lighting installations.

Its benefits include faster commissioning and reduced maintenance costs.

Not requiring device addressing reduces maintenance costs, as failed devices can be replaced without the need for reprogramming.

The flexible control inputs support multiple protocols by routing an input address/group to its corresponding subnet output.
