FSW opens purpose-built branch in Hull

FSW, air conditioning, Fujitsu

Not only does nationwide air-conditioning distributor FSW handle Fujitsu but the company has also used Fujitsu equipment to provide heating and cooling for its new 550 m2 branch in Hull. The open day was well attended and featured an exhibition by manufacturers.

The new branch has a large warehouse, a much expanded trade counter, offices and staff facilities.

Four Fujitsu outdoor units provide heating and cooling. They serve two 5 kW cassettes in the office/trade-counter area and two 2.4 kW wall-mounted units for the canteen and utility rooms. All units are connected using Reflok aluminium piping.

The previous Hull branch was opened in 1997 by NRW. Regional director Paul Fisher explains, ‘When the branch became part of FSW, it was obvious we needed bigger premises. When land became available nearby, we decided to acquire it and build a unit to our own specifications.

‘We have sold Fujitsu for more than 20 years. It is a very popular brand. That was one of the reasons we chose Fujitsu for this installation; the other is to have working units that we can show to our customers.’

Other companies supporting the open day included Beacon Engineering, Yellow Jacket, DiversiTech, Pump House, J&E Hall, Searle, Advanced Engineering, Mitsubishi Electric and Sauermann.
