13 RoSPA safety awards and a president’s gold award for NG Bailey.

Following a decade of being awarded consecutive gold awards by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) NG Bailey has this year secured a president’s award in recognition of its health-and-safety achievements. The company has also received a further 10 and three silver awards across the business.

Among the successes were awards for health-and-safety achievements on projects that include Heathrow Airport Terminal 2A, Birmingham New Street Station, London Bridge and Royal Oldham Hospital.

Speaking about the success, Stuart Mortimer, the company’s health, environmental and quality director, said, ‘Being informed of the president’s award proves the emphasis we place on H&S, and I was very proud to collect the award, along with the 13 others, on behalf of NG Bailey.’

David Hurcomb, chief executive, added, ‘NG Bailey is a leader in the field of health and safety, and we will always strive to set the industry standard. A great example is the part we played in making London Heathrow Terminal 2 the safest construction project in the UK — with five million RIDDOR-free hours.’
