ABEC business surges ahead

ABEC, Automated Building & Energy Controls, BEMS

Automated Building & Energy Controls has reported a 43% growth in its business in the first 11 months since rebranding from ABC in January 2014. It marked a change in the way the business operated and was implemented in response to the importance of the role that energy now has in building-management systems.

The ABEC academy, which was launched alongside the rebrand, is a training scheme that provides valuable education to engineers in the building-controls sector and has contributed ot the growth of the company. ABEC has managed to train its own employees, which will help the company to grow.

Daniel Kittow, managing director, said, ‘The growth of ABEC since January has been extremely encouraging. The deployment of regional offices has helped contribute towards UK-wide contract wins, Even though we find ourselves in the middle of an industry-wide skills shortage it’s great to know that there is an ever-growing demand for energy-centric building management solutions in UK commercial buildings. I am extremely happy with the company’s progression, and I am looking forward to the future.’
