Energy-efficiency in the news at Trinity Mirror

Remeha Commercial, space heating, boiler

Energy Savings of at least 30% are expected by Mirror Trinity Group at its printing facility at Watford following a boiler replacement. There were previously six boilers, four of 1780 kW and two of 670 kW, and they have been replaced with Three Remeha Gas 610 Eco Pro boilers. Martyn Labrum of Labrum Engineering specified the new boilers, which were supplied with plate heat exchangers to maximise heating efficiency.

As part of the complete heating refurbishment, new pipework was installed, controls were upgraded and a BMS system was fitted to enable the modulating boilers to operate at their maximum efficiency.

The Gas 610 Eco Pro range has outputs from 70 to 1200 kW and achieves annual efficiencies of up to 109.6% net. NOx emissions are less than 36 ppm at 0% oxygen and minimum CO2 emissions.
