Meeting the hot-water needs of fitness clubs

Rinnai, DHW, energy efficiency

Rinnai believes that its Infinity range of continuous-flow water heaters are more effective and more energy efficient than systems that store hot water. The recovery time of a system that stores hot water is often longer than the period of use. Replacing such a system with an Infinity continuous-flow gas-fired water heating system typically saves up to 25% on fuel bills, according to Rinnai

Continuous-flow water heaters are particular suited to fitness and sports complex.

Replacing a storage system gives the opportunity to accurately size a system. Installed on a return system, continuous-flow units can provide enough resource to ensure that the hot water will never run out. For example, three Infinity HDC 1500i units can provide enough water for 12 showers and seven wash hand basins, as well as a kitchen sink.

Rinnai’s offering includes a full range of condensing models.
