Air-cooled chillers can use low-GWP R513A

Trane’s Sintesis range of air-cooled chillers offer choice of refrigerant — R134a or DuPont’s Opteon XP10 (R513A), a non- flammable low-GWP replacement for R134a. These chillers have a micro-channel condenser coil that uses up to 40% less refrigerant than traditional tube/fin and flooded-heat-exchanger technology.

In Europe, Sintesis chillers are available with cooling capacities from 300 to 1600 kW. They reach 1600 kW of cooling capacity at Eurovent-rated points.

Integrated controls offer a simple user interface that is standard on every Sintesis chiller. The Trace AdaptiView chiller controls have a 7 in colour touchscreen control to display status and provide intuitive navigation.
