Following a previous successful project at BSkyB’s Grant Way campus, lead contractor Mace awarded Prater a further contract to design and install a solarPV system for Building 2. Off-site manufacture was used to streamline on-site operations and assemble components to generate this contractor’s largest PV power output to date at 462 kW.

The installation comprises 1372 solarPV modules covering 2260 m2 of roof. The work was carried out in two phases and contributes to the BREEAM Excellent rating for the buildings.
