Wieland structured cabling brings new life to listed building

Wieland Electric, structured cabling

Wieland Electric’s Metalynx2 structured wiring system was the preferred choice for lighting and power cables throughout the refurbished Quadrant 2 building in Air Street near Piccadilly Circus in London. Operated by The Crown Estates, this Grade II-listed building has been totally redeveloped behind its existing facade to provide new Grade A office space.

All electrical work was carried out by Imtech, which specified Metalynx2 as it provides quick and fail-safe installation using a unique coding system for power distribution.

Labour savings of 70% are achieved compared with traditional methods, and there is no waste on site.

Wieland worked closely with Imtech to offer working drawings, project management and on-site support as and when required.
