Carlo Gavazzi expands its range of meters

Carlo Gavazzi’s EM210 series of electrical meters has been upgraded with enhancements such as total harmonic distortion, neutral current and hours counter to link energy consumption to relevant working hours. The new CTV versions are available in two voltage input ranges and 333 mV signal.

Installation is quick and easy, helped by the self-power supply from the voltage reference inputs, automatic phase detection with wrong-phase sequence warning and fast application-oriented programming procedure.

Current can be measured using the external split-core current sensor, which restricts the voltage to the meter to 333 mV. Using a split-core current sensor means there is no need to disturb wiring.

A selection of variables can be programmed, providing for active and reactive energy measurement, a complete set from six sets of 3-phase variables.

These meters are available with pulse-only or pulse and Modbus output for transmitting data to connect with PCs, PLCs, a BMS or other data-acquisition and monitoring systems.
