Weatherite supplies yet another M&S store

Weatherite, AHU, air handling units

Weatherite has continued its long involvement with Marks & Spencer, over 30 years, with the supply of air-handling units for the new store at Longbridge town centre and former MG Rover site. The store covers 14 000 m2 over two storeys.

Four AHUs have been installed in the ground floor and first-floor sales and staff areas. The packaged displacement units were designed and manufactured at Weatherite’s factory in West Bromwich.

The contract was awarded to Weatherite by mechanical-services contractor Woodward & Co., which specialises in the design and installation of building services in the retail and leisure sectors.
