Airflow Developments’ DV245 Adroit MVHR unit is Passive House certified and designed for larger homes of up to 400 m2. Airflow is up to 929 m3/h at 100 Pa. Units can be controlled from a PC, table or smartphone. An Adroit unit can also be connected into house automation systems through the Modbus protocol and via the Adroit digital controller.

Up to 90% of heat from the extract air can be recovered and used to preheat incoming air passing through the aluminium heat exchanger. The incoming air is triple filtered by two G4 filters and one F7 filter.

Two external switches can be installed in areas where temperature and humidity levels fluctuate due to activities such as cooking and showering. These switches can be set to ‘boost’ to provide additional ventilation when necessary.

There is an automatic summer bypass for the heat-exchanger. Optional automatic frost protection is offered, which is more energy efficient than traditional frost protection.

Other options include intelligent humidity and carbon-dioxide.

The DV245 Adroit is featured in Airflow’s recently opened Air Academy at High Wycombe.
