Water-heating equipment from Lochinvar has been installed at Bannatyne’s Health Club in Banbury.
Independent health-club operator Bannatyne has installed Lochinvar water-heating equipment for its health club in Banbury. Peculiarly important for such an application is the fast recovery of these direct-fired, balanced-flue water heaters to cope with high demand for hot water from showers. Lochinvar supplied two room-sealed units, each capable of a continuously supplying 1600 l/h at a 50 K temperature rise. Abbey Contractors of Derby was responsible for the design and installation of the hot-water system and the Lochinvar water heaters. Bannatyne operates from over 36 locations and has about 100 000 members. The Banbury club has an air-conditioned gym with a comprehensive range of cardio-vascular and resistance gym equipment. It has a heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, steam room and spa area.
