Daikin introduces range of inverter-controlled mini chillers

Cooling capacities from 5 to 7 kW are covered by a new range of mini chillers form Daikin Europe.
Daikin Europe has introduced a range of inverter-controlled water chillers with cooling capacities of 5, 6 and 7 kW. These chillers are offered as heat-pump and cooling-only versions and use R410A. Uses include comfort cooling, swimming pool and small process applications. Features include Daikin’s swing compressor, brazed plate heat exchanger, 3-speed water-circulating pumps, expansion vessels, gauges, valves, flow switch and filter — all in a casing measuring 1174 x 737 x 300 mm. Chilled water can be supplied at 4 to 20°C and hot water from 30 to 50°C. Operating sound level is 64 dB(A).

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
