Toshiba adds to range of VRF indoor units

This 4-way-blow cassette for Toshiba’s VRF ranges fits a 600 mm-square ceiling grid and is only 268 mm deep.

Toshiba has added new indoor units to its VRF air-conditioning range. A large 4-way-blow cassette unit fits into 600 mm-square grids in suspended ceilings and is only 268 mm deep. These cassette are available with cooling capacities from 2.2 to 5.6 kW and heating from 2.5 to 6.3 kW. A one-way-blow cassette is available in three capacities covering a similar range. Both units have configurable DC fan motors. With the addition of these two models, there are 13 types of indoor unit for use with Toshiba’s VRF ranges and 79 in total, which is said to be more than any other manufacturer. They have an A energy-efficiency rating.
