The AlarmSense range of Apollo Fire Detectors has been increased to increase its scope for houses of multiple occupation.
Apollo Fire Detectors has extended its AlarmSense range of conventional fire detectors and alarm products with a new sounder base, updated relay module and a sounder beacon base. These new products increase the scope of AlarmSense for houses of multiple occupation The new products are connected to the same pair of wires as the detectors. The new sounder base can be wired to the same point as a detector and can sound a local alarm so that an incident in one dwelling can be dealt with by the occupant without raising a general evacuation. A local alert is sound for two minutes before an alarm is sounded throughout a building using an entirely different sound. The relay module has been updated so that is compatible with the new sounder. It enables devices such as conventional sounders and beacons to be connected to the fire-detection system, providing compliance with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
