Thermally insulated piping

pipes
Microflex insulated piping systems are now available from Watts Industries.
Following its acquisition of Microflex, Watts Industries now offers the Microflex range of thermally insulated pipes. The concept comprises thermal insulation wrapped around a carrier pipe and covered by a double-skinned closed-chamber jacket. It can be used to distribute water for heating and cooling and for hot- and cold-water services. Carrier-pipe sizes range from 25 to 110 mm, and it is available as a single, twin or quadruple system. Microflex is supplied in 100 m coils or cut to customer requirements. It is normally installed in the ground, but can be used above ground if correctly supported. It is maintenance free. Tests indicate a life of more than 50 years.
