Albion Valves (UK) Limited aims to upskill industry professionals with new CPD
Albion Valves (UK) Limited, one of the UK’s leading valve suppliers, is delighted to inform you that their range of Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV) has expanded!
Their newest addition is an ART 671 – a BSPP M/M Ended WRAS Approved Pressure Reducing Valve that comes complete with a gauge! The valve is available from ½” to 2” making it a great option for general day-to-day business and project work.
The addition of their ART 671 means that they have a comprehensive range of PRVs, ranging from ½” (15mm) to 12”, and pressure ratings including PN16, PN25, and PN40. As well as this, they also have a choice of connections – Screwed M/M, Screwed F/F, Compression, and Flanged!
As their customers already know, Albion Valves strives for excellence, and they want the whole industry to too. This is why, in conjunction with their product launch, they are also offering a CIBSE-approved CPD on PRVs to increase knowledge, promote best practices, and add value within our industry.
The CPD can be conducted at Albion’s premises, your premises, or remotely via Microsoft Teams.
The CPD will last for around 45 minutes to 1 hour, this also includes time for Q&As at the end.
The CPD will cover:
• The general function of PRVs
• Understanding why we need PRVs
• How PRVs work and the different types available
– Direct Acting and Pilot Operated
• Performance standards
• How to select and size PRV’s
• Best practice when it comes to installation
This CPD aims to give you the knowledge to select the correct size and type of PRV to suit your specific project requirement and also the confidence to know that you are installing it in line with industry best practices.
