Unlock the power of Walraven RapidRail® for faster and more convenient M&E installations

Walraven rapidrail

Traditional strut channel products have always been popular as a quick and effective way of supporting M&E installations. But in many scenarios, they are over-engineered for the requirements of the installation.

Walraven RapidRail® lightweight channel has been designed to offer installers a quicker and more convenient solution for supporting many types of standard installation. So for Installers looking to harness the value of new and innovative products, take a look at Walraven RapidRail®

Walraven RapidRail® – the small but mighty channel system

Walraven RapidRail® is a unique light rail fixing system that was developed as a lightweight, easy to install alternative to traditional strut channel.

For many installations like standard plumbing and heating pipework, ventilation pipes and cable trays, heavy and bulky 41×41 or 41x21 channel is not required. Using a lighter, load tested channel like Walraven RapidRail® 30x20 will effectively support the installation as well as offer additional benefits including:

Walraven Rapidrail 2
  • Lighter than strut so it’s easier to lift and install, especially overhead
  • The smaller profile of steel also makes it easier to cut on site
  • Available in 2m lengths as standard so it is easier to store, carry and transport
  • Load tested proving its suitability for plumbing, ventilation, cable trays and more
  • Complete range of pre-assembled, fast-fix accessories which can save up to 40% fixing time
  • Uses less steel than 41 x 41 so it can be cheaper to purchase and better for the environment!
  • EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) available providing clear and transparent information around sustainability

What do installers say?

A customer who used Walraven RapidRail for ceiling hanging pipe supports throughout a large renovation project told Walraven:  “Part of the reason for using Walraven RapidRail® fixing rail is the fact it’s light and easy to use at height on the scaffolds. This, alongside the really easy slide nut and Hammerfix connectors that just twist into the rail, really helped bring the installation time down from what we estimated it would be using the heavier 41×41 channel product. The system really exceeded our expectations and made the install at height much easier.”
