Distech Controls has announced that its Eclypse controllers have been installed in the Olympic Aquatic Centre, the building that hosted the Paris Olympic events in artistic swimming, diving and water polo.

During the Games, the building welcomed up to 5,000 spectators to watch the artistic swimming, diving and water polo events. After the Games, this world-class sports facility will be open to the general public, becoming a meeting place and a sports venue accessible to all. It will also host national and international competitions from time to time.

The Olympic Aquatic Centre is an example of what can be achieved through environmental best practice thanks to its innovations and technical performance, resulting in it being a certified ‘NF HQE (High Environmental Quality) sports facility’.

The Eclypse solution was chosen to equip the Olympic Aquatic Centre, with the primary aim of regulating the building’s water and energy consumption both during the Olympic Games and after the summer of 2024.

Eclypse controllers were chosen for their modularity and durability. They are directly linked to the energy management solution deployed on-site. Together, these solutions communicate to achieve the water and energy saving targets set in the specifications, both during and after the Games.
