Training programmes for installers of Roth solar thermal solutions are available via Climate Pipework Systems, the UK distributor. To ensure calculations are accurate, appropriate products are used and quality standards are maintained on site, this intensive day course has been established as a requirement for all installers of Roth solar thermal products. Mike Darvill, managing director of Climate Pipework Systems, says, ‘There are no compulsory standards for fitting solar thermal solutions in the UK, and we believe strongly that suppliers should set their own quality levels. This is a highly technical product, and even the most competent plumbers need specific training in solar solutions.’
