Easy control for EC fans

ec control
Simple control of electronically commutated fans is provided by this simple device from ebm-papst.
Speed-control modules for ebm-papst’s range of electronically commutated (EC) fans provide significant energy savings, less noise and improved performance. All EC fans have a 0 to 10 V control input to vary the speed of the motor. It is also easy to measure the fan speed using a multimeter. Where automatic speed control is required in response to, for example, ambient temperature, the EC-TEMP unit is a very simple and flexible accessory. It is a proportional temperature controller with two interdependently programmable 0 to 1 V outputs that can vary the speed of EC fans in relation to a set point and programmable P-band. The unit can control two independent fans or a fan plus auxiliary device such as a shutter or damper.
